The Federal Government ‘s Special Visitation Panel set up to look at the University of Lagos’ management crisis has submitted a summary of its findings.
Following the expulsion of its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, by its governing council, the government set up a commission to look at the crisis gripping UNILAG.
Education minister Mallam Adamu Adamu, who inaugurated the council, chaired by Prof. Tukur Sa’ad, had cautioned members against interfering with UNILAG management activities.
Adamu received the report on behalf of the Federal Government in Abuja on Thursday.
He said the recommendations of the panel would be thoroughly scrutinised with the aim of full implementation.
The panel leader, Professor Tukur Sa’ad, said the study submitted would end the university crisis.
